The Stars Centre houses a printmaking studio and holds a large collection of engraved wood blocks, copper etchings and engravings. STARS offers the opportunity to purchase hand printed impressions from the collection on hand made and mould made papers. Collected over many years the collection includes plates and blocks from the 19th century to the present day with subjects as diverse as birds and flowers to mining and steam trains. The collection also includes the work of contemporary artists/printmakers whose editions are produced in the printing studios.
