Anne Bacon FIIC has over 30 years experience as an easel paintings conservator and is able to undertake collection surveys and condition checking in addition to general advice on the care and conservation of paintings. Printmaking Facilities
In addition to introductory and advanced courses in printmaking techniques STARS has a wide range of facilities which can be booked for use by professional artist printmakers.

Framing
STARS offers a framing service to artists and for prints purchased from the collection held in the archives.
Film
The historic printmaking equipment held by STARS is available to hire for film production, projects using STARS staff and presses include films on the life and work of Thomas Bewick and on the currency forgeries perpetrated by the Nazis during the second world war.
